There is something about the Taiwan expat network that rocks it when it comes to sharing local news that will impact our lives. Several months ago, when reading a Taipei Facebook post I learned that Jake’s Country Kitchen, one of Taipei’s oldest expat Western-style restaurants was going to be moving. An immediate “Oh, no” was muttered, as I wondered what was the reason behind this impending move.
